Acoem Brand Guidelines

Turning brand inconsistency into a shared vision, starting by ditching our “safe” blue for the bold coral Acoem had been avoiding.

As Acoem evolved, the existing brand guidelines no longer supported the scale and complexity of the organization. International teams lacked clear direction, resulting in inconsistent, country-specific executions. I brought teams together to evaluate current brand usage and discuss where clarity and structure were lacking. Through defining strict logo usage, accessible color combinations, and precise typography guidance, I established a structure that reunited our messaging, streamlined web development, and empowered teams to create on-brand assets confidently.

AI Imagery Workflow

Building an AI-driven workflow to transform complex machinery renderings into on-brand illustrations, saving both time and budget.

Due to technical limitations of stock photography and budget constraints to outsource visuals, I implemented an AI-driven workflow to translate 3D renderings into consistent illustrations. Through this process, I standardized Adobe Dimension 3D renders, crafted specific visual prompts with OpenArt.ai, converted raster images with Vectorizer.ai, and utilized Adobe Illustrator recoloring presets. This approach yielded a comprehensive, on-brand asset library and a blueprint for future asset creation.

Acanthus Display Typeface Design

Designing a ligature-heavy display serif with decorative swashes to bring Baroque architectural flair to modern typography.

Translating historical foliage motifs into a working font, I built a display serif that doesn’t just sit on a page—it decorates it. Utilizing dramatic swashes and nested ligatures, the typeface brings architectural flair to modern layouts, ultimately catching the eye of studio BS+A for real-world commercial application.

Product of the Year Campaign

How a multi-tool visual campaign secured Gold for Asset Management Product of the Year.

With the challenge of rising awareness for the Wireless Balancer without new on-site imagery, this project bypassed traditional constraints by utilizing multiple digital media. A campaign of email and social media content was created, ranging from 3D rendered scenes to generative AI composites and real field photography, with layered software UI elements. This strategy successfully sustained campaign momentum across social and email efforts, culminating in a 2026 Gold Product of the Year Award as recognized by Plant Engineering.

Maintenance Training Campaign

Scaling Acoem USA’s cornerstone training program with a strategic messaging shift and design system, driving a 7.5% email open rate increase over two years.

How do you market Acoem Training when your star trainers retire? I replaced personality-driven promotions with a modular identity rooted in tactile classroom textures, distinct course emblems, and enhanced curriculum transparency. The change reduced repetitive customer FAQs, armed sales with better collateral, and made email production faster than ever.
